On Surreal Sunday we put on Pigeon Masks and wear pigeon heels to blend in among the birbs when we go out to the park to feed the pigeons. These pigeon pumps were created by Kyoto Ohata who, according to My Modern Met, was concerned about upsetting the pigeons while walking through an area where they congregate. In effort to avoid causing the pigeons to scatter she decided to customize a pair of heels to help her feet blend in with the flock.

The first Sikorsky S70 helicopter manned by Turkish pilots doing a loop. Legend says that the engineers who designed the helicopter challenged pilots all over the world to do a loop with it and that the Turkish ones were the only ones crazy enough to actually try it.
This pavilion was designed to be the centerpiece of a newly planned town. Its name was meant to reference the Apollo Space Program as an optimistic glimpse into the future.
